Introducing Dr. Sonya Anson

Dr. Sonya graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College (USA) in 1992.  As an Australian studying in America, her fellow students fondly referred to her as “Sandra D.” (aka Olivia Newton John from the musical, Grease).

She’s married to Steve (co-founder of Perfect Patients) and they have four children aged 5, 6, 9 and 10. 

Sonya is from a family of five chiropractors.  Her father, Dr. Laurence Tassell, is a past President of the Australian Chiropractors’ Association. 

After practicing in Australia for 17 years, in 2009 Sonya relocated to Bangalore, South India to serve with the Christian Missionary Organization, BBCM.  Sonya started the free Natural Health Clinic with the vision to share the love of God by serving the poor. 

“The clinic grew very quickly and, with 200 patients a week, the team is at capacity. The need for chiropractic in India is endless”, says Sonya. “The exciting part is that as we pray for each patient, God miraculously intervenes to bring about healing that far exceeds anything I’ve witnessed in the West.”
